Handcrafted in the USA, the SAS Scout Compact Takedown Survival Bow is the smaller counterpart of the Ranger Compact Takedown Survival Bow. Meticulously designed by skilled engineers for lasting durability, this is one of the quickest deploying compact bows available.
Unlike its larger version, it does not store takedown arrows within the riser. This feature allows for a more ergonomically designed grip and is ideal for users who prefer full length arrows or have a larger number of takedown arrows stored elsewhere. Both the Scout and Ranger bows feature a push style longbow grip, ensuring comfort during use, but the Scout's grip is even more comfortable to carry.
With the ability to convert from left to right hand by simply flipping the limbs and restringing, and with no need for special tools for operation and maintenance, this bow is convenient for sharing between multiple archers or unit members.
It's also suitable for attaching accessories such as sights, quivers, and screw-in arrow rests, making the Scout a great companion for any pack.
Please be aware that we have a strict policy against accepting returns for bows that have been strung. If you decide to return your bow after receiving it, do not attempt to string it. Our bows have special indicator marks that reveal if they have been strung, which could pose a danger to other customers. This is part of our commitment to maintaining a safe environment, in case a dry-fired bow is unknowingly returned to us. Therefore, please carefully consider your decision before stringing the bow for the first time.
